This course is free and open to anybody who wants to gain a deeper understanding of how inclusive education is implemented at an international level, peeping out of the own context of action to look for new solutions together!
More specifically, if you work at schools, other educational and care institutions, or authorities and institutions of the education system, you will find instructive and interesting content to sharpen your knowledge and awareness of the topic of inclusive education from the point of view of governance and advance your professional development. As a student teacher, you’ll be able to look behind the curtain and get insights into the work of the main actors involved in inclusive education. At the end of the course, you will probably realise that you are competent enough to do your part and boost inclusive processes in the education system. We also encourage the participation of persons with disabilities, their families, and (self-)advocacy groups and consider their feedback of vital importance. When it is about activating and managing change processes towards more inclusive societies, nothing about them should happen without them.
